Augsburg Clinical Center consists of a total of 24 hospitals and institutes. With the exception of orthopedy and psychiatry, all medical fields are consolidated here. With over 1,600 treatment places and more than 5,000 employees, Augsburg Clinical Center is a modern hospital of maximum degree medical care and one of the biggest municipal institutions in Germany.

For the intended website relaunch, cekom agency from Cologne and their content management system CMS Laurin were chosen. The aim is to represent the center's umbrella website as well as the different sites of the individual institutions inside one consistent and easily maintainable system. CMS Laurin creates the technical preconditions for this purpose. In the future, intranet and internet presences can be quickly and flexibly  administered independently by Augsburg Clinical Center.
