Development of the new Laurin version 2.40 was guided by the motto
"Simple, straightforward operation".
All the standard features were reworked with a critical eye and the typical working processes were optimised. In addition, the user interface was modernised and made clearer without giving up the familiar Laurin style that is so popular with users. The result is a user interface in which experienced Laurin users feel instantly at home, but which further eases the learning curve for new customers.

For a better overview of the pages and elements currently being modified, there is a new module on the Laurin start page that acts in conjunction with existing modules to provide a clear summary of work being done on the internet site, even when there are several editors using the system.

New functions
Of course, it is not only the user interface that has been improved. Laurin has now been provided with many new functions to make work easier.
Laurin's new “ScaleUp” element allows a thumbnail of a graphic to be added to a site with just a few clicks of the mouse. A click on the miniature version opens a separate window with the image reproduced full size.  The details of creating the thumbnail, determining the right size for the window, etc. are handled for you by Laurin.

Anti-spam
The new Laurin also has a lot to offer when it comes to avoiding spam. All e-mail addresses are automatically encoded so that spam senders' e-mail gathering programs see nothing but random combinations of characters, even though people can still read and click them normally.

Search engine statistics
Outstanding visibility to search engines was always one of the greatest advantages CMS Laurin possessed over other products.
