Advantages for Editors
CMSLAURIN offers editors:
- Intuitive operation
- Familiar structures and surfaces (browser, Windows Explorer, Word®...)
- Exemplary usability via SmartAgents and EasyLaurin mode
- Easy to update simply by sending emails to the system
- Configurable interface
- Reusability of elements for derivative sites
In most cases, editors can already work quickly and efficiently with CMSLAURIN after only a very brief training period.
The majority of functions are intuitively comprehensible and/or already familiar to editors who have worked with ordinary office programs.

SmartAgents simplify the most frequent tasks. The EasyLaurin mode accompanies the typical steps in the work with short instructions and, if necessary, with a more detailed help function.
For data that always have the same structure, updates can be simply and quickly accomplished by sending an email to the system. (Such data include, for example, lists of addresses or contact persons, event tables, etc.)
Furthermore, the Laurin interface can be adapted to suit individual requirements.
The element concept reduces the labor of maintaining derivative sites. Identical contents on different sites need only be altered once.
Recommended skills and know-how for editors are:
- Thorough familiarity with a Windows PC (program start, various windows, Windows Explorer, names and kinds of files, copy / paste...)
- Experience with typical office software (e.g. Microsoft Word®)
- Internet experience (Internet browsers, calling up and navigating a Web site, links, downloads...)
Most content can be processed in CMSLAURIN on an editor’s PC as long as the PC has an Active-X-capable browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer starting with Version 4) and access to the Internet (e.g. via an intranet).
