CMSLAURIN SmartAgents

To help make operation by the editors as simple and intuitive as possible, CMSLAURIN offers:

• SmartAgents for frequent work steps
• The option of switching into EasyLaurin Mode, which leads the user through the individual steps in the work process
• Updates via emails sent to the system

SmartAgents

SmartAgents offer editors the simplest access to the system for frequent work steps. The full power of CMSLAURIN remains invisible, so learning to work with the SmartAgents is as quick and intuitive as possible.

SmartAgents significantly reduce the training time that editors need to spend in order to familiarize themselves with the system.

The CIA (Content Inspection Agent) permits direct, convenient, and rapid alterations of existing pages.

After entering the page number and/or choosing the page via a sitemap, the contents of that page are immediately made available for editing. The altered page can either be temporarily stored or, if corresponding rights have been granted, it can be released for immediate publication.

The PDA (Page Duplication Agent) is used to simply and quickly generate new pages. One selects an existing page whose structure is similar to that of the new page which one wants to generate.

EasyLaurinMode

In EasyLaurin Mode, instruction screens guide the user of the SmartAgents. These screens comment on each of the steps in the work process. The corresponding online help-text can be called up directly from the instruction screens.

The EasyLaurin Mode can be switched on or off whenever desired.

Updating by sending an email

Modules are available to conveniently update contents whose structure always remains unchanged. The editor sends the update as an email through the module to the system.

For example, this makes it possible to very easily generate updates for:

• Event lists
• Address files
• Product catalogues
• Press releases
